Casino Participation
Each participating casino shall pay an initial (one time) set–up fee of $250 to cover establishing the casino account, data transfer protocol with National Lottery and set up of the software for the random draw system. The set up fee is valid for the first and all subsequent draws that the casino elects to participate in.
Each casino may participate in every draw cycle, or randomly select the draws that they want to join. Drawings will be held approximately four times per year, or as often as the casino group wishes, with 60 day cycles or longer (90) day cycles for larger prize pools. There will be at least a 60 day break between drawing cycles.
Casinos will provide floor space for the desired number of Big Money Game Kiosks, and signage (other than that on the kiosk). The kiosk will print and register the club card holder, and regiater the ticket in both the National Lottery servers and the casino databases.
The casino group will retain all raffle funds throughout the process, and at no time will National Lottery or Smartplay be in receipt of raffle funds. Weekly reporting will confirm the number of player registrations from both databases. Databases will contain the club card holders name, address, phone and e-mail addresses (when available) and the club card number. National Lottery will be responsible for notification to winners, with verifications from the casino group. The casino will be responsible for tax reporting of winnings along with casino play winnings, under normal tax reporting requirements. The casino shall report the winnings of their cardholder when notified that there is a winner from their casino. Each casino will be responsible for the tax reporting of winners from their casino. National Lottery does not wish to have access to the cardholder SS number. The accountants shall provide the database to National Lottery for transfer to the draw computer.
Drawings and results of the current draw cycle will be done 30 days after the close of the cycle, and winners will be announced at that time. The drawing will be conducted by National Lottery, Smartplay and the casino group at their location of choice.
Prizes in each lottery draw cycle must be claimed within 180 days from the close of the cycle, and unclaimed funds will “rollover” to the next drawing as prize money.
Under NO circumstances will the casino player’s club cardholders personal information be sold or transferred to another business for contact. Each casino shall have the rights to display pictures of lottery winners in their facility, and National Lottery shall have the right to publish the winners on the National Lottery website.
It is the responsibility of National Lottery to notify winners, and notification will be done by certified, registered mail through the US
Postal Service.
