National Lottery has patented (US Patent Application) a way to offer “big money” jackpots in a multi-state casino raffle.

With each casino offering a number of tickets from their Player Loyalty Club Card holders, in combination with other casinos, a mega jackpot is determined by the number of multi-casino player entries. Players often wait until a jackpot is large enough to entice play. The National Lottery jackpot is calculated from the first day of sales, and increases throughout the specified draw cycle. A National Lottery sixty day cycle may offer a $30 million prize pool (or more) with one hundred casinos participating. This would generate an average of thirty thousand players per casino participating over a sixty day draw cycle.

Other incentives to the success of a National Lottery draw are additional prizes and early bird prize money to promote increased Loyalty Card holder participation and new card holder registrations.

National Lottery allows each casino to participate to their level of Loyalty Card Holders. The casino raffle will be offered three to four times a year, with each casino having the option to participate in any number of raffles. This gives each casino the flexibility to increase tickets, decrease tickets or skip a drawing. It’s freedom of choice in a leveraged casino raffle.
